Powerail Enclosed Conductor System

This system features an insulated housing with multiple conductors. It is ideal for overhead use where splashing, dust or debris and touch safety is a concern. The current collectors are self guiding in the housing. Entry and exit funnels are available for systems that required electrical contact zones.

Typical applications: Crane Runways, AS/RS Cranes, Paint Lines, Battery Charging Lines, Stacker Cranes, Work Stations Tool Power - The LSV (alum housing) is used in outdoor or harsh environments.

Insulated Enclosed Conductor Systems

These systems feature individual insulated conductors that can be used stacked and in combination. Isolation and feed sections are available for test, power-up and power down zones. Entry and exit funnels can be installed for applications that require collector entry and exit such as electrical contact zones. Aluminum conductors with a stainless steel insert us available for special applications (paper mills etc.)

Typical applications: Crane Runways, AS/RS Cranes, Floor Conveyors, Skillet Lines, Roller Conveyors, Test Lines, Transfer Cars, Elevators, Ship to Shore Cranes (with SMG).

Battery Charging Contacts for Opportunity Charging

We design and manufacture a large number of standard and custom charge plates and contact shoe assemblies. The assemblies can be floor mounted or flush mounted as required.

Typical applications: AGV’s, Amusement Ride Vehicles.

Contactless Power Supply

The CPS system transfers power inductively (electromagnetically; no contact). With no contact, wear items such as electrical brush shoes are eliminated. Optional configurations include vehicle guidance and data communications (RS 485, 19.2 Kbits/s). Pick-up units are available as flat type (for floor systems) and U-type for compact overhead (EMS) systems. CPS can handle complex track layouts including switches, cross-overs and lift stations.

Typical applications: AGV’s, Cranes, Sortation Equipment, Transfer Cars.

Slotted Microwave Guide

This system provides interference free multiple channels of data communication to moving vehicles including voice, video.

Typical applications: AS/RS Cranes, Transfer Cars, Ship to Shore Cranes.

Powercom 485

This system provides conductor rail based communications to multiple vehicles (RS 485, 19.2 Kbits/s).

Typical applications: EMS Carriers, AS/RS Cranes, Transfer Cars.
