The SMG system communicates data from a stationary device to a moving device on a vehicle or other mobile equipment.
By putting an antenna in a geometrically shaped waveguide we are able to eliminate the interference issues with open air (spread spectrum) systems. Additionally, we are able to communicate with up to 6 channels of high speed data. We support many of the common industrial PLC data systems such as Allen Bradley DH+/RIO, DH485, GE Genius, Siemens Profibus, Ethernet, as well as video and voice.
The SMG system operates at 2.4 GHz.
Data rates as high as 10 MBit/s.
