Heavy Enclosed (trench) Conductor Systems
VAHLE heavy duty enclosed conductor systems have been manufactured since 1925. They are used in dockside cranes, loading bridges, traversing bridges, etc. The trench conductor system is installed parallel to the crane rail, below or above ground, and is suitable for voltages up to 20 KV.
Underground
- Concrete trench with lifting arm or cover plate lifting bogie.
- System EID: the trench cover is composed of individual steel plates, which are connected to each other in an articulated way to form a continuous belt.
Other Systems
FK system: supply of power in a contact-proof configuration for the use of copper-head conductor rails with cross sections up to 200 mm². The special feature of the FK conductor system is that the current-collector trolley does not require an extra track, but instead it runs on the conductor rails with insulated plastic rollers. The current collectors are located between the rollers, so that minimal dimensions are produced for the conductor system.
Application: Heavy OHT cranes or gantry cranes with high dust ratio and outdoor systems.
Guard rail system: a combination of a guide rail with a protected conductor system, e.g., for harbor systems, in which portal and gantry cranes move on a pier and truck traffic is possible up to the quay wall. In this case, the guard-rail conductor system can be used as a border for the quay wall to the ship way.
